Hello! Welcome to our family-friendly campground near Rocamadour, in the Lot department. We are Valérie, Fred, Kevin, and Wilhem Bouttier, and we’ve been running Camping de la Sole as a family for several years. We know that vacations are sacred. They’re often the only time of year when we can truly unwind, take the time to play with the kids, enjoy a quiet evening drink, and just do nothing…
That’s why we wanted to create a place where families feel at home. Not an industrial campsite, but a family campsite, in the truest sense of the word, on a human scale, where people know each other’s first names, where children make friends, where people take the time to live, talk and share good times with each other.
We’re often told, “You can breathe here. Children can move freely.” It’s true. The campsite is completely enclosed, access is reserved for campers only (wristbands are issued on arrival) and all children’s facilities are located opposite the entrance, away from traffic paths.
If you’re looking for a campsite with a disco and entertainment until midnight every night, you’ve come to the wrong place. Here, it’s quiet. The kids have fun, yes, but it doesn’t have to get messy. We organize activities during the day, but also little evenings so that you can have a good time with family and friends. Because that’s what a real family vacation is all about, isn’t it? Getting together. Slowing down. Enjoy.

Activities for the whole family at a campsite near Rocamadour
During the summer season, our family campsite near Rocamadour organizes entertainment for young and old. During the day and in the evening, enjoy moments of family fun and sharing.
Whether you’re looking for sport or relaxation, you’ll find something to keep everyone busy. During the day, the campsite offers group games, sporting challengesand fun activitiesto keep you moving, laughing and making the most of every moment. And let’s not forget theaquatic area, with its heated swimming pool and children’s slide.
Ping-pong tables are available all day, with free access. A racket, a ball and off you go! One game follows another, giving rhythm to the afternoons at the campsite.
The petanque court is located in the heart of our leisure area. It’s the ideal place to have fun in good company, in a friendly atmosphere. And if you’re here in summer, don’t miss the Friday tournaments : guaranteed fun and great memories!
Camping with children’s club
The campground’s kids’ club, for young campers ages 5 to 10, is open four mornings a week during the high season: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (July 7 through August 20, 2026)
Under the watchful eye ofqualified activity leaders, children enjoy mornings rich in discovery and good humor.
On the program:
– Creative workshops (crafts, painting, object making)
– Fun games and treasure hunts
– Age-appropriate sports challenges
Every day in Rocamadour is a new adventure for your children. And in the meantime, parents can enjoy a moment of peace and quiet: read a book by the pool, relax in the adults-only hot tub, or simply do nothing. That’s what vacations are all about!
Playground, trampoline
Children need to move, climb and jump. We know that! That’s why we’ve set up several play areas adapted to their boundless energy.
There’s a sand playground with swings, slides,climbingstructures… the classics that always work! The area is safe and shaded, perfect for younger children.
It’s impossible to resist the campsite’s big trampoline . Children spend hours jumping, laughing and letting off steam. There’s plenty to keep your kids busy between visits to Rocamadour and Padirac.
Activities for teens & adults
Teens and adults are not left out! We’ve got you covered with leisure equipment for fun, sport, exercise and good times.
Multi-sports field
Soccer, basketball, handball… The multi-sport field is open to everyone. It’s perfect for an impromptu game between father and son or for teens to get together. And let’s not forget table tennis and the pétanque court—two camping vacation classics that always put everyone in a good mood!
At the campsite bar: the games area
In the campsite bar, a games corner with table soccer, billiards and air field hockey is a delight for teenagers (and nostalgic parents!). Perfect for a late afternoon or early evening game while parents enjoy a drink on the terrace.

According to the activity schedule, our family-friendly campground in the Lot region also offers unique activities such as laser target shooting, tattoo workshops, and more. There’s always something new to discover!
Family-friendly evenings
Evenings at the La Sole campsite are a time for getting together, relaxing and meeting new people.
Every Saturday night during the summer (from July 4 to August 15, 2026), the pool stays open until 10:00 p.m. for night swimming. With the lights on, the atmosphere is magical. Kids love it—and so do adults!
